Short, factual answers about what the institute researches, who runs it, how access works, the PolarisLink protocol, how papers are produced and cited, and how to get in touch.
Forticia Research Institute, also written Forticia or Forticia UK, is a private institute for computational research that operates forticia.uk. It publishes original research and runs a governed environment where researchers and agents work together, with every run logged and replayable. It also publishes the open PolarisLink protocol. The site gives no investment advice. More about the institute is on the About page.
Forticia works in four branches inside one governed environment: quantitative finance, where ideas are tested with blind validation and placebo controls; computational biology, covering sequence, structure and folding; cultural intelligence, on philosophy, governance and ethics; and AI instrumentation, on multi-agent coordination, evaluation and guardrails. The research overview compares them.
Forticia has two founders. Cayden Richards is Co-Founder and Managing Partner, and started Forticia in 2023 as a quantitative research lab. Dr Yash Kulkarni, a medical doctor qualified MBBS, is Co-Founder. Access requests are reviewed by a committee. The About page has both profiles, and the institute’s working commitments are set out on the cultural intelligence page.
Access to the governed research environment is by invitation or application, reviewed on a rolling basis. You apply through a short form, and nothing is stored until you submit it. A committee assesses compliance and fit before any credentials are issued, and each approved project then gets its own isolated, role-gated workspace. Request access to apply, or read about isolated research workspaces.
PolarisLink is an open, domain-agnostic protocol for governed multi-agent coordination, telemetry and provenance, published by Forticia Research Institute under the Apache-2.0 licence. The specification, a single-header C++20 client and a dependency-free Python client are public on GitHub. The current protocol version is 2.6.1. Start with the PolarisLink overview, the specification or the quickstart.
Each paper states its question, its method, the results with their uncertainty and the attempts to break them. Work run inside the governed environment is kept in an audit trail from the first session, and every run is logged and replayable. None of the papers is presented as peer reviewed. Browse the papers or read how governed AI and the audit trail work.
Every paper page has a Cite this paper section that shows the reference in APA and BibTeX, each with a copy button. The reference uses the title, authors and publication date shown on the page, with the paper’s address on forticia.uk. Forticia does not assign DOIs. Pages also carry citation metadata for reference managers. Find the paper in the papers index.
Reach the research office by email: info@forticia.uk for general enquiries and research@forticia.uk for research and access. The official channels of the institute are forticia.uk, the forticia.uk email addresses and github.com/Forticia. The contact page lists both addresses, and you can also request access through the application form.
No. Forticia publishes research and simulations, and nothing on the site is investment advice. The site publishes no trading signals and no performance figures. Quantitative finance writing describes methods, validation and limits, not recommendations. See how claims are tested on the quantitative finance research page.
